"Web Safe" colors are those that look
the same on most computer monitors including older computer monitors,
newer monitors using "accelerated browsers," laptops,
cellphones, and PDAs.
The following "web-safe" color combination
samples below are adapted from the color scemes in the book, "Color
Harmony". Remember that different colors invoke different
moods. Think about the image/mood you

Tip: Take pieces of construction
paper and lay them out on a neutral grey background to see how you
like different colors together. Or color splotches with crayons
on white paper. Then, you can share your color ideas with your web
designer.
