Search Engine Optimization Services

Kestrel Designs offers meta tag creation, search engine optimization, and web site submission to over 30 major search engines. (Or more upon request.)

Meta Tag Research and Creation - $50/hour

We will evaluate your website and create a basic set of meta tags for you. You review and approve them and we install them on your site. It typically takes less than an hour to put together a set of meta tags for an already existing site.

Website Content Optimization - $50/hour

We review your website's content and suggest changes and improvements to enhance your search engine's placement. This might include suggestions to change body text, adding or changing image ALT tags, page titles, and heading tags. Depending on the size of the website and how much revision is required, this can take less than an hour to several hours.

Basic Search Engine Submission $30/one-time fee

We submit your website to all of the major search engines including Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL Search, Ask Jeeves, Overture, Netscape, LookSmart, Lycos, HotBot, All The Web, Open Directory, Inktomi, Teoma and more. We will also submit to other smaller search engines, but typically do not recommend it as that often generates a lot of spam to your administrator's email address. Foreign search engine submissions can also be made upon request.

Typical Total Cost for Basic Search Engine Optimization + Submission = $100-$150

Important Note: It typically takes at least 3 months for Search engine optimization to work properly. You can pay for "instant submission" through special programs, but then you are stuck paying a monthly maintenance fee. If you are willing to wait, then all you need to pay for is your meta tag creation, content optimization, and the one-time submission fees and your site should stay at the top or close to the top of most search engines on its own.
